  • In a talk therapy session, you can expect a confidential and supportive environment where you will have the opportunity to discuss your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with a trained professional. I listen attentively, ask questions to better understand your situation, and help you explore emotions and patterns in your life. Sessions typically involve setting goals, developing coping strategies, and working collaboratively to address challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, or relationship issues. The pace and focus of therapy will be tailored to your individual needs, allowing for a personalized approach to your mental health and well-being.

    Sessions last for 50 minutes.

  • In an EMDR session, I will help you focus on painful memories while you follow guided eye movements or tapping. The session starts with discussing what to work on and how to handle stress. You will recall upsetting experiences while paying attention to the movements or tapping. This helps your brain process these memories and ease your feelings. I will monitor your reactions to keep you safe and comfortable, changing the pace if needed.

    Sessions last for 90 minutes and are part of a plan made just for you.

  • In an Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) session, I will use a clear, focused method to quickly help you work through painful memories and emotions. You will recall upsetting events while following specific eye movements or other techniques to help your brain process these memories differently. The session includes finding negative beliefs tied to the trauma and changing them to more positive, helpful thoughts. You might see strong images or feel emotional changes as your brain adjusts. I will work with you to keep you safe and supported. Many people feel better after just a few sessions, often faster than with regular therapy.
